We realise that buying an e-bike is a big decision - there are so many different types of e-bikes to choose from. However, the most important part of buying an e-bike is making sure you will be looked after and supported after you have received your precious e-bike.

That is why we have put in place a full support package to ensure you have every confidence you have bought an e-bike from a company that cares and wants to look after you and your e-bike during and after the sale process. These are the benefits of buying an e-bike from The Cycle Company:

FREE UK DELIVERY ON ALL OUR EBIKES

If you are able to come and collect your new e-bike from our store then we really recommend it. However, if you have bought online or are too busy to come and collect your new electric bike then we offer two delivery options as follows:

1) FREE DELIVERY anywhere in England, Scotland or Wales using TNT or DPD.

DPD and TNT offer excellent service and usually deliver overnight. Your bike will be taken by DPD or TNT to their local depot, where it will be sorted and re-shipped the following day with the driver delivering to your area. We have excellent insurance cover for damage to bikes while being transported by DPD or TNT, but only for claims over £250. If you are unfortunate enough to receive a bike that has been damaged in transit and the cost of the repair is less than £250, we will do our best to assist with any work needed but will not be able to cover the cost.

2) VIP DELIVERY anywhere in England, Scotland or Wales using a dedicated courier service. Upgrade Charge: £75*

This is a heavily discounted price for a dedicated courier service. The courier will collect the bike from our warehouse and will bring the bike directly to you. It will not leave the van and great care is taken over the packing. Where possible you're bike will be built, unboxed and ready to ride. It is also fully covered against all damage in transit - you can have full confidence your bike will be perfect and if it isn't we will arrange and pay for any repairs.

NB: If you live close enough to come and collect your new bike then we strongly recommend this in order to receive a full bike set-up and demonstration.

FREE RETURNS:

We understand the perceived risk of purchasing online and making that leap of faith on a larger purchase. Rest assured, we can always accept a return and offer a 100% refund, without restocking or return shipping charges. We’re that confident that you will love your new e-bike from The Cycle Company.

Try one of our electric bikes at home, and if it’s not the bike for you, ship it back to us within 7 days from the date of delivery for an exchange or a 100% refund on the price of the bike.

TWO YEARS OF FREE SERVICING:

We want to make sure you feel supported after you have bought your new e-bike. That is why we are offering two years of free servicing after you have purchased a new e-bike from The Cycle Company. Whether your gears are slipping, the brakes aren't as sharp, or anything more technical - we are here to help. The nitty-gritty of what this includes is as follows:

Bikes must be delivered for servicing to The Cycle Company shop in Shawford (SO21 2BN). Collection and delivery of your e-bike is not covered in the offer and is for the customers account.
Two years of free servicing is for labour only and does not include any bike parts required that aren't covered under your manufacturer's warranty.
The two years free servicing offer is for bikes bought online only.

FREE - KNOG SCOUT BIKE ALARM AND TRACKER

If you buy an e-bike from The Cycle Company online that is over £3000 in value, then we will include a free Knog Scout bike alarm and tracker. This is a seriously cool bit of kit, which takes the worry out of owning an e-bike. The Knog Scout fits under your bottle cage and has the following functionality:

An 85db motion-sensitive alarm alerts you when your bike has been moved.
Discreetly arm and disarm the Scout using your iPhone or on the device itself.
A built-in tracking device enables you to locate your e-bike using an app.
